Microsoft Sway

What is it?

Microsoft Sway is a presentation tool that can be used to create newsletters, presentations, reports, training materials and communications. It is for internal sharing use only.

Sway works well for:

  • Easily adding content.
  • Designing content using Sway’s design engine.
  • Linking to built-in Microsoft 365 apps like Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Yammer.
  • Dynamically adapting canvases so they can be viewed on any device.

Support

Staff can request Sway is added to their Microsoft 365 account by raising a ticket via the Support Portal.

Sway offers a self-support model. When you open Sway via the app launcher, the help guides and FAQs are accessed via the ‘?’ icon in the top right.

Information and support can also be found on the Microsoft Sway Support Site.

Bitesize videos can also be found explaining how to use the key features of Sway.
