Outlook is fully supported software for access to your University mailbox.

Microsoft 365

Most staff and postgraduate researchers have now had their email accounts transferred to Microsoft 365. One immediate way to access your Microsoft 365 email account is through https://outlook.com/manchester.ac.uk.

You can also access your email inbox through the Outlook application for desktop, as well as the Outlook application for desktop and mobile.

On a University managed computer (ie, at work)

University computers ('managed' computers) will have the Outlook desktop application already configured for use. For it to work you must be logged in to the GlobalProtect VPN using 2-factor authentication from Duo.

There are computers available at the University and off-campus which will not automatically be configured for use with Outlook. These can be configured by following the guide below. If you encounter any problems, please contact the IT Support Centre.

On a non-University computer
