Virtual learning environment

This service provides a web-based virtual learning environment (VLE) that supports teaching and learning at the University. The VLE provides students with access to learning resources for modules and programmes, as well as access to other related learning material. Blackboard Learn is the main system used to provide this service however there are other VLE systems also utilised at the University.

Eligibility

All members of University staff and students are eligible to use this service.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We aim to respond to service requests within one working day and to resolve your query/request within ten working days. If your request is considered to be a priority when triaged by our IT Support Centre, the response time will be adjusted accordingly.

Availability

This service is available 24/7 except for planned maintenance and unplanned issues on campus.

8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
