PC clusters

This service offers access to more than 3,000 cluster PCs across the University campus and halls of residence. There are faculty/school specific clusters or central PC clusters which can be booked and used by anyone. Whilst not in use for teaching purposes, PC clusters can usually be accessed by students when the cluster is open. The majority of PC clusters run the Windows Operating system though in some faculties Linux and Apple Mac PCs are available.

Clusters have a standard suite of software available such as Microsoft Office and specialist software may only be present in allocated clusters.
