Cancellation

Your contract can be cancelled at any time by giving Vodafone 30 days notice, however please first consider if your number can be re-assigned to someone else, or to the spare number pool.

Any final charges will be invoiced on the next invoice after disconnection so please ensure the cost code is still going to be valid to cover this.

Transferring away from the contract

If you no longer require the University contract for any reason but wish to retain your number, it is possible to transfer it by requesting a PAC code from us which you take to a provider of your choice before the expiry date. If you are also keeping the device, it may need to be unlocked from the network in order to work and you can request this at the same time.

Please note that transferring is the same as cancelling so you may have to pay a cancellation fee if you are still in the contract period.

Number and/or device retention is completely at the discretion of the budget holder or Head of School, so their permission should be sought before submitting the request.
