What is Microsoft Office?
Microsoft Office is the standard desktop suite of core office applications including; Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Here at the University of Manchester, the latest version that is fully in use is Microsoft Office 2007. (Should you be interested in other versions of Office such as 2003 or 2010, please contact us at: its.traning@manchester.ac.uk).
IT Services Training offer a regular schedule of face-to-face classroom training sessions in the use of Microsoft Office applications. All courses are offered at a Foundation level and some are also available at an Intermediate level. We also offer a series of Getting Started with Computers sessions which are aimed at the complete beginner, for those who are new to using a PC.
