The IS Forum 2010-2011

The IS Forum is a bi-monthly event, open to all members of IT Services. It provides a regular opportunity for updates from colleagues and relevant suppliers as well as for the sharing of strategy and future operational plans.

The agenda
Based on suggestions from IT Services staff, on a bi-monthly basis, we will aim to include presentations relevant to all IT staff.

This can include sessions from external visitors and presentations on timely and relevant topics.  If you have an idea, please feel free to suggest a topic for a forthcoming IS Forum.

Once finalised, the confirmed agenda will be communicated to IT Services staff a week before the Forum via the IT Services eUpdate.

Unless stated otherwise, lunch is provided at 12:00 and presentations begin at 12.30pm.

There is also an open floor Q&A session at the end of each Forum. If you wish to ask a question more discreetly, you can email your question  to be read out anonymously.

When
The IS Fora will usually take place on the second Tuesday of every other month. We have yet to book all of the forthcoming Fora, but you can view the planned dates on our calendar of events

Where
A central venue (such as Uni Place or the Alan Turing Building) is often used.  Please check the calendar of events for exact locations of each forum.
