Research data management
This service is offered to researchers who are required to meet various levels of data management in their research as required by funding bodies and data providers. Research IT will help researchers in designing/reviewing their research data management workflows to support their research, as well as provide support the data management, ie The Research Data Storage (RDS) service.

- Advice and support on the development of technical plans, data management plans third party data sharing plans and security level agreements in alignment with funders’ policies and data providers’ requirements
- Advice on the best storage options for your data
- Support for researchers in the technical planning and design of a data management workflow, which will work with IT Services’ provision in alignment with the University’s Research Data Management Service
Eligibility
Research staff and Postgraduate Research students are eligible to use this service.
Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Delivery times will vary greatly depending on the scale and complexity of the request.

This service is available 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
