Power management (Powerman)

This service provides power management of the managed desktop estate.


  • Powerman reduces the carbon footprint of the University’s managed desktops


All members of University staff and students are eligible to use this service, as are mobile users.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We aim to respond to service requests within one working day and to resolve your query/request within ten working days. If your request is considered to be a priority when triaged by our IT Support Centre, the response time will be adjusted accordingly.


This service is available 24/7. Availability is estimated at 99.7%.

Support hours

8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
