Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) support services

This service offers IT support for users’ personal equipment.


  • Setting up Wi-Fi and adding users to networks
  • Support with VPNs
  • Guidance on remote desktops
  • Connecting to printers
  • Installing software, anti-virus programs and other general advice


All members of staff and all students are eligible to use this service.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We aim to respond to service requests within one working day and to resolve your query/request within ten working days. If your request is considered to be a priority when triaged by our IT Support Centre, the response time will be adjusted accordingly.


This service is available from 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
