Centrally managed storage

This service provides users with the function to store their data in a centrally-provided and managed facility.


  • Data can be stored on NASK or NASR systems
  • Backups and snapshots are regularly taken


All members of academic, Professional Support Services (PSS) and research staff are eligible to use this service.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We aim to respond to service requests within one working day and to resolve your query/request within ten working days. If your request is considered to be a priority when triaged by our IT Support Centre, the response time will be adjusted accordingly.


This service is available 24/7, with planned and notified periods of downtime.

Support hours

9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
