Microsoft Exchange is the email and calendar service provided to all University staff and postgraduate research students.


  • Sending and receiving of emails
  • Scheduling and notification of meetings and appointments
  • Access to University address book, stored email, calendar and associated data on a variety of platforms including mobile devices


All members of staff and postgraduate research students are eligible to use this service.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We aim to respond to service requests within one working day and to resolve your query/request within ten working days. If your request is considered to be a priority when triaged by our IT Support Centre, the response time will be adjusted accordingly.


This service is available 24/7, availability estimated at 99.9%.

Support hours

8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The service is provided automatically to members of staff and postgraduate research students on their appointment. For queries contact the IT Support Centre.
