Audio visual hardware configuration support

This service provides technical support for audio visual equipment in non-central teaching spaces. Please note that overhead projectors, whiteboards, flipcharts and other non-technical teaching and learning services in these rooms are covered by the Directorate of Estates.


  • Projectors, visualisers, microphones, speakers and other presentation peripherals


This service is only available in teaching and committee rooms which are looked after by IT Services. Rooms that are looked after by Faculty or Media Services staff are ineligible.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Immediate issues are dealt with by Field Support Quick Response escalation. Upgrades and repairs are planned by local Field Support teams.


This service is available 8.30am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Support hours

8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

How to request/access

Contact the IT Support Centre by telephone to speak to the Field Support Quick Response team, who will always visit the site.
