Here, you can request access to a new shared email mailbox or an existing shared email mailbox.

Accessing a shared mailbox

A shared mailbox can be accessed using Outlook:

• Accessing a shared mailbox - staff and postgraduate research students

This method will add the shared mailbox into Outlook as an additional mailbox you can access. You will be able to see both your own mailbox and the shared mailbox without having to logout of your own account and into the shared account. It is also possible to have a separate 'profile' for the shared mailbox.

To send email from a shared mailbox, a special procedure needs to be followed in Outlook.
