Rejection of messages containing a virus
You have been directed to this page because The University of Manchester mail system has rejected an email that appears to come from your address; this was done because the message contained a virus.
The intended recipient will not be aware of any attempt to mail them. This page is a courtesy so we can explain what has happened. If you are sure that your machine is infected then a likely explanation is that the message was a real virus with a forged From: address - a common occurrence with malicious messages.
